What is an "additionality test"?
Additionality shows that the purchase of the offsets is the reason an offset project takes place. Without the funds generated by the offsets, these projects would not happen, and the carbon would not be offset without them. In other words, we track that these funds are used appropriately to offset new carbon from the environment and not applied to projects that are already funded.
