Daily actions by individuals and businesses (transportation, lighting, air conditioning) burn fossil fuels and emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Your calculation will instantly tell you how much you need to offset to become "carbon neutral," and provide a benchmark to measure your future footprint. Calculating your carbon dioxide emissions should be conducted annually at a minimum to measure your progress at reducing your carbon footprint.
